About the Opportunity
Rolling Suds is a profitable exterior cleaning company serving commercial clients across Northern Virginia. We did $1M revenue in Virginia in 2025, and we're acquiring 5 Maryland territories to scale to $1.9M in 2026.
This isn't a corporate ops job. This is hands-on field service leadership - managing crews who visit customer sites daily (commercial properties, military bases, residential communities). You'll refine systems, train teams, ensure quality, handle logistics, and solve problems in real-time.
The owner focuses on sales and business development while supporting operations as needed. You'll own day-to-day operations across both states.
What You'll Own
Team Leadership - Hire, train, and manage ~16 field technicians across two states
Multi-State Operations - Coordinate scheduling, routing, and resources between VA and MD; manage 5 trucks
Quality & Safety - Refine and enforce SOPs, maintain compliance, ensure consistency across both states
Equipment & Fleet - Oversee maintenance, repairs, inventory for pressure washing equipment and vehicles
Client Operations - Handle escalations, manage key commercial accounts alongside sales
Financial Performance - Control labor costs, improve efficiency, protect 70%+ gross margins while scaling
Growth Execution - Turn around Maryland operation while maintaining Virginia performance
What Success Looks Like in Year 1
✓ Virginia grows to $1.3M+ revenue while maintaining 70%+ margins
✓ Maryland turned around and scaling to $500K+, profitable by Q4
✓ Crews operating with refined systems, minimal owner involvement in day-to-day
✓ Demonstrable operational improvements and cost efficiencies
Compensation
Base: $90-100K (depending on experience)
Bonuses: ~$10K for hitting operational milestones
Phantom Equity: 3-5% of net profits
Total Year 1: $105-125K with strong performance, scales in Year 2+

Ideal Background
- 5+ years managing field operations
- Proven ability to scale teams and refine systems
- Strong people management with hourly workforce
- Valid driver's license; comfortable with VA/MD travel

Work arrangement: Flexible - work from home, use our VA or MD staging areas as your office, or hybrid. No required daily commute.
Travel: 30-40% visiting job sites for QC and client meetings; 60-70% coordinating operations remotely
